Surry County African American Heritage Society
Purpose
To promote African-American culture awareness, activities, and education, and assist other segments of the community with the same.
To provide services and assistance to research, establish and advocate policies that foster a healthy African-American community and economic development.
To promote the educational, economic, social and spiritual development of the African-American community.
To own, lease, or otherwise hold, operate, use and care for assets of the organization related to carrying out the above purposes.
